  • 5. Would I get a pin code that is to be put as pre-fix to the number I am dialing? No. Irrespective of the country or region you are calling and irrespective of whether you are calling from your personal computer or smartphone handset all you have to do is dial the country code and then your number.   • 6. I tried installing the dialer using the user name and password but was unsuccessful. Can you explain to me why?
    • This may have happened due to more than one reason. You would have inadvertently entered in the incorrect password or user name. Even the cases of the letters and numbers matter here. The system is case sensitive.
    • The other reason is more applicable to slightly old members. It is advisable here to check your account balance. And recharge the same if you feel the need for it.

  • 8. How do I know how much charge I have left in my account? There is a check account option given along with the dialer. All you have to do is to click and open this account to know for yourselves the exact status of your account.
  • 9. How do I keep track of how much charge I am consuming when I am speaking on an overseas call? This is also pretty simple. You just keep an eye on the calculator. That is all.
  • 10. What all do I need to ensure is there I can make the required call from my PC or smartphone? You need to have the right broadband connection with speakers. You also need to have your Firewall allow the dialer to be installed and used. The software application is using Symbian version 6.0 of the operating system.

We are not a service provider in the strict sense of the term. We are only having this application software through which users can make and receive calls. That is about it. Hence we have no emergency numbers to give to you.
  • 12. I need to make rather elaborate calls. Is this possible? What is the maximum call duration that you permit? You will be happy to learn that we are pretty generous in this regard. You can make calls extending up to the maximum of 60 minutes.
  • 13. I would like to know about all your premium plans? We are a retail service provider. Hence are in no position to offer any premium rate services. All the call rates are fixed and given in the various plans. There are no different rates for calls made during the night time or week-ends of holidays, etc. At least for the present that is.
  • 14. I am based in Paris, France and have been trying to register with you. Somehow, your system is refusing to take me in. Can you tell me why? At least for the present, we have not included UK and our European end-users. Hence, we will be unable to serve you. Sorry. And all the best.
  • Dialer related
    • Before you dial the number, it is better to be clear about the status of your account and whether you have sufficient charge left as balance. This information is readily given in your account.
    • If you feel that you need more charge, you can always recharge your account. This also can be done.
    • You dial the country code of the destination you are calling in followed by your number. That is it. No other pin or any other prefix is required. This is true irrespective of whether you are calling from your PC or smartphone. You can either type out the number at the top or even use the keyboard given below
    • The moment the call is on and the person at the other end picks up, the rate calculator is activated. The timer also gives you in bare detail the amount of time being spent on particular calls
    • If you have to speak to another number in between your present and ongoing call, you can press Hold and start conversing with the new receiver.
    • After the call is over, you can check the amount you have spent on it and recheck your account balance. And then revert to us in case of any discrepancy.

  • Voice Quality Related 1. I spoke from India to my friend in the USA. The voice quality though clear was very loud. What should I do to lessen the impact? You had probably made the call directly from your laptop or personal computer and that too without using headphones. You are better off sitting in your normal position and not lean to close to the monitor. This has probably resulted in the extra levels of volume. You can also lessen the volume on the in-built speaker in your PC or laptop.
  • 2. I queried my cousin also about the voice quality. She was also extremely happy about the clarity and audibility of the voice transmission. But she also felt that her voice was being partly echoed. Why is this so? This may be because of the fact that she may not be using headphones. And you may point it to her that there is an `echo' option given in the speaker attached. This option be deactivated for the duration of the telephonic conversation. This will lessen the echo effect greatly. If the echo option is not there, she can simply lower the volume of the speaker. Even this will lessen the echo kind of thing happening and the conversation can take place in a far clearer manner.
  • 3. How would I know how much time I am spending speaking on an overseas call? There is the timer option that gets activated immediately when the person at the receiving end answers our call. The timer will keep ticking and you will know exactly how much time you are consuming to the last second.
  • 4. How would I know how much charge is being consumed? Again, the moment the call is answered the option called 'Balance' will show a '?' symbol. And the moment the call ends, this option will reveal the amount spent.
